Rated 5 out of v by Johnny Mariakakis from Best investment I ever made I accept owned 3 gas powered cord trimmers in my life, and being very frustrated with the last ane I ventured to purchase this new electric Ego Power string trimmer. I am IN LOVE with this new trimmer! It makes much less dissonance, starts immediately with a press of a button and no struggling with a asphyxiate and pulling a start string. It's much lighter than my gas trimmer, and has MORE power, and the motorcar feed of the cord line is a blessing and saves me a lot of time (and profanity). I wasted and then much time restringing my old gas trimmers and this Ego Power does the job in SECONDS! I HIGHLY recommend this trimmer.

[This review was nerveless as part of a promotion.] I have all the Ego tools from concatenation saw to snow blower fifty-fifty had the string trimmer but decided to splurge on the new POWERLOAD Carbon Fiber. Great tool except the engineers who signed off on the variable speed trigger must not use string trimmers much. The new trimmer is not actually variable speed like the old model. The new one is basically 2 speeds - fast and faster with nothing much in between. The thing I liked almost almost the erstwhile i was the ho-hum speed variable control for going around fences and flowers. If I knew the new model was not as capable when it comes to variable speed would probably not have purchased it. Hoping for a gear up.

The larger property I cut today normally takes 2 tanks of gas with a gas trimmer so wanted to see information technology cutting dandy but had to charge battery iv times to finish I bought this for the smaller belongings and it does cracking and so but if I bought the 7ah battery And a 5 ah it would be more than plenty yes that does add upward I left extra considering so taller than other places but yes honey it and I would buy again merely if u use other string same .95 string. It is easier to buy the ego brand string I bought the same size but it to a few tries. The ego went in perfect every fourth dimension so when u purchase get the big curlicue they didn't have the large roll just precut. And I needed more. Have used it v times and as long as the warranty is practiced I'll keep ownership and adding. The batteries are a bit loftier just if u buy Stihl use Stihl oil etc buy ego use ego batteries only that'southward me

Rated two out of v by sore thumb from not happy at the moment the starting time fourth dimension I used it one side of the string bankrupt off within the head with in 2 min of apply the 2 tabs you take to button to release the lower head either I am doing it or you accept to have the force of a gorilla to use two days latter my thumbs are still sore one time I rewound the line and started use I again I plant one of the cord avant-garde well when yous tapped it the other side did non advance at all my thumbs were to sore to attempt disassembly over again so I just put the trimmer in my garage earlier I bankrupt something not impressed I have the ego cocky propelled backyard mower and the leaf blower the both piece of work excellent I got the ego trimmer to go along the batteries yet now I wish I had not done that

You lot have to babe this production. #2: The bombardment does not come shut to the performance marketed here. Mine is expressionless in less than 5 years. It never ran for the promised xl minutes before it needed a charge. I volition say for the 20 minutes information technology did run betwixt charges, information technology is every scrap equally powerful as your average gas-fueled trimmer. So that'south in the plus cavalcade. Like all cord trimmers, loading new string is a huge hurting in the butt. The main reason for my low score is the value proposition. The product promises a lot, and charges a premium, but in the cease doesn't deliver. That's a mortal sin for a product.

I originally tried to put the ii-office shaft together and immediately broke the flimsy plastic piece that is supposed to hold the two halves together. I screwed also hard or what. I saw the carbon shaft on goggle box that was keeping ii walls apart, so what the heck are you using plastic in the middle. And why is information technology 2 pieces anyways. Can't ship from China or what. I thought the whole idea of this product was to keep it simple for klutzes like me. Obviously not. At present it is broken—do I come across a support link on this web folio or not. NO! what a frigging joke. time to buy some gorilla record.

Rated iv out of five by MarkTh from Great tool! Almost perfect I love this weed whip! I have 3/four of an acre with a lot of landscaping and I've done it twice without charging the unit. The ergonomics on it are great. I cut grass professionally for a few years and this is the same grade factor and functioning of a professional weed whip. The weight reduction from the carbon fiber is noticeable. I highly recommend it. My merely nit-pick is that a expert gas weed whip has more throttle command at the low cease. I like to edge effectually my beds at low speed to minimize the grass I throw into my beds. Information technology'southward hard to find and maintain as low of a speed here as I can with my gas trimmer. (which is headed to the curb!)

Rated 4 out of v past Anthony Andrade from Should be advertised as clockwise. I've been a landscaper for ten years, I should have washed more than research before purchasing this weedeater. This is a lefty model. I have e'er used weedeaters that spin counter clockwise while this one spins clockwise. After farther research I found others with similar complaints. The positions used for this model are entirely different from a more common right handed weedeater. Then I'g just going to start the long process of learning to piece of work left handed. I believe this should exist advertised as such, or create a model that can spin both directions. Other than this, it is my first electrical and all-time weedeater I've ever used.
